The doctrine of the mystery part 10: The ten unique factors of the Church-age. Eph 1:9; 2Pe 1:10-12; Rom 8:29-39

/7. Mystery doctrine reveals the ten unique factors of the Church-age. \

 

/1. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit.\

     

The baptism of the HS is the method by which God transitioned the great power experiment of the Hypostatic Union to the great power experiment of the plan of God for the Church-age.

 

This is the ministry of God the Holy Spirit at salvation whereby He takes every person who believes in Jesus Christ during the Church Age and enters him into union with the person of Jesus Christ. By this we become royal family of God.

 

Like all the things in the portfolio of invisible assets the baptism of the Spirit is unseen, unfelt, and is not experienced through emotion. It occurs at the moment of salvation.

 

/The baptism of the HS enters us into union with Christ, making us members of the RFOG and entitles us to the same benefits as Jesus Christ. \

 

It is the mechanical basis of election, predestination, and adoption as well as the eternal security of every believer.

 

This is completely unique to the Church-age and it should give you confidence in who you are. Faith in this doctrine will propel an adolescent believer into SSE.

 

/2. This is the dispensation of the unique predesigned plan of God.\

     

Because the Church Age believer is royalty, he functions under protocol. You must learn the mechanics of how to live as royalty rather than the old life of the commoner who is at the beck and call of the flesh.

 

Protocol is how to live and not to live, how to think and what not to think, what to say and what not to say, and what your proper motivation should be.

 

/God has predestined a path for the CA believer that supersedes the ritual plan of God for Israel and is an extension of the prototype plan of God for Christ in hypostatic union. \

 

God has predestined a path so that we may walk in a manner worthy of our election in Christ; therefore it is unique to the RFOG in the Church-age.

 

God’s plan isn’t a chore, but rather the only place of complete happiness for the new creature in Christ and it has been specifically designed for the new creature.

 

No plan from the hand of God has or will be as dynamic, powerful, or fantastic as this plan. It is a perfect plan designed for imperfect creatures.

 

This plan must necessarily exclude any human power, human dynamics, or human personality.

 

/This plan is absolute and so it transcends the pettiness of man’s fallen concept of good and evil.\

 

It is not a system of competing or comparing, but rather a system that enables the positive believer to do the will of God. The PPOG is designed to manufacture invisible heroes who share the Happiness of God.

 

/3. Unique Equality in the Predesigned Plan of God.\

     

/Unique to the Church is equal privilege and equal opportunity under election and predestination. \

 

In a world saturated with false concepts of good and evil that have manufactured so many comparisons and competitions out of which everyone seems to be the loser, this part of the mystery is a sigh of relief.

 

The bags that we’ve carried are filled with bricks. Each brick contains the weight of an expectation that someone has put upon you that you never seemed to live up to. Sometimes you yourself have manufactured the brick and put it into the bag.

 

God has put no such burden on you. The Lord said that His yoke was easy and His burden light as a feather.

 

You no longer have to look for the approval of someone. God stamps you approved in the best possible way; election in Christ.

 

With the mystery of EP/EO those bags are thrown to the ground and if you pick them up again you’re a fool who has been duped by the trickery and deceitful scheming of the devil.

 

God’s election and predestination are each by means of grace and are executed and fulfilled by means of grace.

 

Election is God’s desire for your life while predestination is God’s provision for His desire to become a reality.

 

/Election: EP = royal priest; EO = logistical grace

Predestination: EP = baptism HS; EO = PPOG\

 

This equality means that all handicaps are erased at salvation, but with free will comes great inequality between those who persevere and those who quit.

 

/4. The Unique Portfolio of Invisible Assets.\

     

God is perfect, His plan is perfect. Since we are incapable of executing a perfect plan, it is necessary for God to provide us with the assets to execute His plan.

     

/God provided for each one of us our very own unique portfolio of invisible assets billions of years ago in eternity past, EPH 1:3-6. There are three categories in your portfolio.\

          

/a. Primary assets:  escrow blessings and assets of election and predestination.\

 

Election in Christ equals the greatest blessing and privilege that God the Father can give to a human.

 

Election is God’s desire for your life.

 

2 Peter 1:10 Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things [virtue that results from doctrine in your heart], you will never stumble;

 

2 Peter 1:11for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.

 

2 Peter 1:12 Therefore, I shall always be ready to remind you of these things, even though you already know them, and have been established in the truth which is present with you.

 

Predestination as an extension of the Father’s predestination of Christ equals the greatest vehicle that God the Father can give to a human that enables him to fulfil his election.

 

The principles of this plan must be repeated and repeated as Peter states in verse 12.

 

ROM 8:29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first-born among many brethren;

 

ROM 8:30and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

 

ROM 8:31What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

 

ROM 8:32He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

 

ROM 8:33Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies;

 

ROM 8:34who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

 

ROM 8:35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

 

ROM 8:36Just as it is written,

"For Thy sake we are being put to death all day long;

We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

 

At this time Nero has come to power and many Christians will be put to death. We are not facing this type of persecution today, but the point is that in the face of ultimate undeserved suffering we can have limitless courage because we are elected in Christ and the Father has given us the most powerful plan in all angelic and human history so that we may realize the full extent of our election.

 

ROM 8:37But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.

 

ROM 8:38For I am convinced [here in lies the key - are you convinced as the apostle Paul was?] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,

 

ROM 8:39nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

 

We don’t have to be experiencing death right now to be convinced that if we were we would overwhelmingly conquer it.

 

Predestination is God’s provision for your life.

 

Election and predestination must go hand in hand. It would only be frustrating and cruel for God to desire and promise His highest and best while excluding the plan by which that desire is realized.

 

/b. Secondary assets:  volitional assets, production assets, the assets of undeserved suffering for blessing, and invisible impact (personal, national, international, and angelic) assets.\

 

Positive volition, production of divine good fruit [boxes for moving are fruit boxes; Rainier fruit company], persevering under undeserved suffering, and becoming a blessing by association all parlay the primary assets into secondary assets that open doors that are always closed to those with negative volition.

 

/REV 3:7

He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David [the key to the riches of the kingdom], who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens,\

 

The key of David is the key to this passage. Hezekiah had appointed a prime minister who was selfish and greedy. In other words, he was given an opportunity and he squandered it through a lust for wealth.

 

God removed him from his opportunity (shut the door) and gave the opportunity to another who served Him, Eliakim (opened the door).

 

ISA 22:15 Thus says the Lord God of hosts,

"Come, go to this steward,

To Shebna, who is in charge of the royal household,

 

ISA 22:16  'What right do you have here,

And whom do you have here,

That you have hewn a tomb for yourself here,

You who hew a tomb on the height,

You who carve a resting place for yourself in the rock?

 

ISA 22:17'Behold, the Lord is about to hurl you headlong, O man.

And He is about to grasp you firmly,

 

ISA 22:18And roll you tightly like a ball,

To be cast into a vast country;

There you will die,

And there your splendid chariots will be,

You shame of your master's house.'

 

ISA 22:19"And I will depose you from your office,

And I will pull you down from your station.

 

ISA 22:20"Then it will come about in that day,

That I will summon My servant [not a slave, but a willing servant] Eliakim the son of Hilkiah

 

ISA 22:21And I will clothe him with your tunic,

And tie your sash securely about him,

I will entrust him with your authority,

And he will become a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah.

 

ISA 22:22"Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder,

When he opens no one will shut,

When he shuts no one will open.

 

ISA 22:23"And I will drive him like a peg in a firm place,

And he will become a throne of glory to his father's house.

 

Positive volition opens doors. Negative volition closes doors. It’s that simple.

 

Every believer has the primary assets, but only the positive believer enjoys the secondary and personnel assets, which become secondary open doors. These assets open doors that most of the world has never even seen; even closed, never mind open.

 

 

 

Your positive volition to walk through the open doors of election and predestination lead you to other open doors of volitional assets, production assets, the assets of undeserved suffering for blessing, and invisible impact (personal, national, international, and angelic) assets.

 

Positive volition toward these doors and subsequent passage through them leads you to the door of your personal sense of destiny where you fulfil the plan of God for your life.

 

/c. Personnel assets:  function of your spiritual gift and fulfilment of your personal sense of destiny.\

 

This is somewhat oversimplified, but it does make the idea clear enough to motivate positive volition. Every opportunity, every day can be viewed as an open door for the positive believer and so there are many, many doors, but they all must fall necessarily under these categories.

 

Negative volition closes doors so that secondary and personnel assets are never seen or realized. However, never forget that if you are still alive, there is always a chance to reverse NV to PV.

 

So the primary assets must be exploited if the secondary and personnel assets are to be enjoyed and therefore used to glorify God.

 

The function of your assets amounts to spectacular spiritual and certain material blessings that fill capacities in the heart to which subsequently happiness is produced.

 

Remember, as we presented last week, blessing and happiness go together for the positive believer who has gained capacity for God’s highest and best.

 

Capacity comes from personal love for God. All things work together for good to those who love God.

 

The CWL is to be enjoyed. It was never designed to be a burden.

 

For example: Israel was cursed by the Lord, not because they weren’t performing the rituals and sacrifices commanded by God, but because they lacked the power that comes from faith in His word to enjoy them.

 

/Deut 28:47

Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and a glad heart, for the abundance of all things;\

COL 1:25 Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God,

 

COL 1:26that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations; but has now been manifested to His saints,

 

COL 1:27to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

 

/ROM 16:25

Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past, \

 

 

We may summarize the teaching as to the course of the age by saying: (1) there will be a sowing of the Word throughout the age, which (2) will be imitated by a false counter sowing; (3) the kingdom will assume huge outer proportions, but (4) be marked by inner doctrinal corruption; yet, the Lord will gain for Himself (5) a peculiar treasure from among Israel, and (6) from the church; (7) the age will end in judgment with the unrighteous excluded from the kingdom to be inaugurated and the righteous taken in to enjoy the blessing of Messiah’s reign.
