Worship Is a Condition of the Heart.
length: 61:15 - taught on May, 21 2025
Class Outline:

Defiled: koinoo = make common or impure (major theme in this passage).
Again a voice came to him a second time, "What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy."
A cleansed conscience is a cleansed heart.
The person is defiled by sins, all of which originate within the heart.
Only the blood of Christ will cleanse the heart (EPH 5:26; TIT 2:14; HEB 9:14; 2CO 7:1).
Presence in the Holy of Holies (fellowship with God) changes you (heart) drastically.
Heart: the seat of the real you, inner you.
What is worship?
Draw near to God with your heart unveiled and bow in heart, acknowledge His power and authority, and obey His will.
JOH 5:18-24 Honoring the Father and the Son because they have the power over life and death.
COL 2:8, 20-23 ABCs of the world v. Christ.
Application: Daily worship: What does it look like?
First things first - God first, not things or people or events (prayer with thanksgiving, devotional time, Bible reading / study).
Prayer is a must for beginnings and endings.
Bow - I will submit to Your will today. Seek first His kingdom and righteousness.
Acknowledge - God alone has all authority and power.
Humility: You do not know; you do not stand; you are not noble; you are not strong.
Obey - seek God’s will in every situation today and obey it in all of them.
Last things last - Examine your day at its end (examen - a spiritual discipline; check it out here: https://thewell.intervarsity.org/spiritual-formation/examen ) and pray with thanksgiving.
Quality of worship will be directly proportional to how much you love it and so love Him: Shemah and Shalom.
