Title: Doctrine of the indwelling Christ part 16. The temple of God produces fruit. Implications of the indwelling Christ.

Pearl Harbor. Christmas songs. Holiday schedule. Refreshments Christmas morning.

/ #2 result of effective rebound is production of fruit which glorifies God. \

This goes hand in hand with being confident at the JSOC since divine good production is what you are evaluated for.

John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.

/ “abide” - present active subjunctive of menw[meno] = to abide without leaving, to continue in a location or sphere, to tarry or to stay.\

This word means to remain in fellowship and not leave for long periods of time. Since there is no one is sinless it would be impossible to remain in fellowship with God indefinitely, but with lightning quick rebound reflexes, this command can be obeyed by the positive believer.

And there in lies the key.

To remain in fellowship or to abide with the Son and the Father and the HS means the use of problem solving devices skillfully. This skill comes from years of PVTD.

Therefore, abide comes to mean positive momentum in the spiritual life where the inevitable spiritual growth will result in the production of divine good.

/In religion, the production of divine good is faked by those seeking approbation from God and men, Matt 21:19.\

The withering of the fig tree was a picture of divine discipline for a lack of fruit production.

John 15:6 "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away [loss of fellowship] as a branch, and dries up [continued carnality through lack of rebound]; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned [three stages of divine discipline].

As believers we must rightly divide the word of truth. If the context of this verse is the lake of fire, then salvation is not faith alone in Christ alone. It would have to be faith plus continued fellowship.

There are plenty of religious folks out there that would willingly teach you that, but that translation disagrees with hundreds of other scriptures. The word of God is God breathed and it is seamless. Fire does speak of judgment and here it refers to divine discipline. We do not see the phrase, “weeping and gnashing of teeth,” like we usually see for the lake of fire.

/Divine discipline is designed for you to recognize your loss of fellowship with the Only Source of true blessing. \

This is nothing more than the father taking his son to the woodshed.

John 15:7"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you [fellowship with doctrine; impregnated doctrine], ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you [divine production in prayer].

John 15:8 "By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit [fruit of the Spirit], and so prove to be My disciples.

/Fruit bearing is directly connected to retroactive and current positional truth.\

John 12:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone; but if it dies [RPT], it bears much fruit [CPT].

John 12:25"He who loves his life loses it; and he who hates his life in this world shall keep it to life eternal.

John 12:26"If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall My servant also be; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

/Without rebound there is no soil, which is the PPOG, and therefore no softening of the hard outer shell which is the flesh, which was crucified with Christ - retroactive positional truth.\

Victory over your flesh through the rebound technique weakens the flesh. By naming the sin, isolating the sin, forgetting the sin, and moving forward you break the mastery of the OSN and you break the trends of guilt, bitterness, vindictiveness, blaming, and the sins of the tongue. You begin to bear fruit.

Back to:

John 15:9 "Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love [fellowship with PSDs #7 and #8].

John 15:10"If you keep My commandments [doctrinal orientation PSD#5], you will abide in My love [7&8]; just as I have kept My Father's commandments, and abide in His love.

He is asking us to do what He has done. If the Lord successfully lived the spiritual life because He was God then we have no hope.

/The Lord’s humanity advanced spiritually and fully glorified the Father because He resided in the plan that the Father had given Him, which is now given to every CA believer; Predestination.\

The new plan given to Christ would be contrary to the OT plan for believers and it was the Father’s first Christmas present to the Jesus Christ.

John 15:11"These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you [sharing the happiness of God - #9], and that your joy may be made full.

/Point 6: The Implications of the Indwelling of Christ.

a.The indwelling of Jesus Christ is a sign of royalty. \

Your background is of no consequence in the Church Age, because you are indwelt by Jesus Christ. You have equal privilege and opportunity with all other believers. None of us were born as royalty, but all of us are born-again as royalty.

/While the baptism of the Spirit is the means of forming the royal family of God, the indwelling of Christ is both the sign of the royal family and another expression of the uniqueness of the Church Age.\

/b. The indwelling of Jesus Christ is a guarantee of our portfolio of invisible assets because we are fellow heirs with Christ, ROM 8:17.\

/ROM 8:17

and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him in order that we may also be glorified with Him. \

Along with the sealing ministry of the Holy Spirit in EPH 1:13-14, the indwelling of Christ is a guarantee of our portfolio of invisible assets prepared for us by the Father in eternity past.

EPH 1:13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation —  having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,

EPH 1:14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of His glory.

/c. The indwelling of Jesus Christ is a guarantee of eternal security.\

You cannot lose your salvation, no matter how you foul up your life, no matter how you fail!

You can’t see Christ indwelling your body until you die. You see the manifestation of Christ in you through your personal spiritual growth, increased love, peace, and joy; your capacity for life, and the distribution of your escrow blessings, but you cannot see Him physically until you die.

This makes for a very comforting truth.

/When your soul and spirit leave your body, “absent from the body and face to face with the Lord,” (2 Cor 5:8). Jesus Christ leaves your body along with your soul and spirit and escorts you to heaven.\

We are not evaluated until directly after the Rapture, so at physical death there is no embarrassment or shame for the loser believer. If you physically die in time, your soul, spirit, and doctrine all proceed to heaven billions of light years away. But what of the indwelling Christ and what of the promise, “absent from the body and face to face with the Lord?” Instead of an angelic escort to the third heaven, how about a husband escort? This is implied here since Jesus Christ is the only visible member of the Godhead.

This also fulfills the principle of Ps 23:4, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will no fear no harm because You are with me.”

/d. The indwelling of Jesus Christ is a guarantee of the existence of your escrow blessings.\

What is an escrow?

And escrow is an inheritance which is put on deposit and to be given to the grantee only when the conditions of the escrow are met.

For instance, a father may put a large sum of money on deposit for his son, which is only to be granted when he marries from a certain family or he graduates from a certain university. In Roman times the condition was manhood or adoption.

Another party was given control of the conveyance of the escrow upon recognition of the fulfilled condition. He was called an escrow officer. One was put in control of the money itself which was called the depositary.

/Grantor: God the Father. Grantee: CA believer. Depositary: Jesus Christ. Escrow officer: Jesus Christ.\

Since Jesus Christ is both the depositary of our escrow blessings and the escrow officer who distributes them to us when we fulfill the conditions of the escrow, the indwelling of Christ is a guarantee that, billions of years ago, God the Father created and placed on deposit in Christ fantastic escrow blessings for you.

/The condition of the escrow is spiritual maturity. The blessings themselves are beyond what can think or imagine. They include spiritual, material, social, and relationship blessings.\

The fulfillment of the escrow conditions is the execution of the protocol plan of God. The indwelling of Christ is not a guarantee that we will receive our escrow blessings, only that they exist. We will never receive our escrow blessings until we advance to spiritual maturity.

/e. The indwelling of Jesus Christ is the motivation for continued momentum in undeserved suffering at spiritual adulthood.\

At spiritual self-esteem you have personal love for God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Knowing Jesus Christ indwells you becomes the motivation you need to advance to spiritual autonomy and to spiritual maturity.

The reason is that at each stage there is undeserved suffering, which God allows under His permissive will. You were protected from this type of suffering up to the stages of spiritual adulthood because you were not strong enough to handle them.

What’s going to keep you going and what’s going to prevent you from quitting? Christ in you, the confidence of future blessings and glory.

/COL 1:27

to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope [confident expectation of the future] of glory.\
